    Jon Batiste to perform in Delhi and Mumbai: India's musical spirit has always inspired me

    Oscar and Grammy-winning musician Jon Batiste is set to captivate Indian audiences with his debut performances in Delhi and Mumbai. The composer will perform in Delhi on November 24 at Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre, followed by a Mumbai show on November 26. Batiste expressed his excitement to share his music and connect with India's inspiring musical spirit.

    New Delhi, Oscar-winning musician Jon Batiste is set to make his debut in India with performances in Delhi and Mumbai.

    The 38-year-old composer will have his concert in Delhi on November 24, which will take place at Plenary Hall of Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre, followed by another performance in Mumbai on November 26, according to a press release.

    Batiste said India's musical spirit has always inspired him.


    "India's musical spirit has always inspired me. I'm beyond thrilled to finally perform in Mumbai and Delhi. This tour is about sharing joy, stories and sounds that bring us together and I can't wait to experience that magic with all of you in India," he said in the statement.

    The event is produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live, the live entertainment division of BookMyShow. The pre-sale of the tickets for the Delhi show will begin on Wednesday. The general tickets will be available on Friday.

    The location and the date of tickets sale for Mumbai show is yet to be announced.

    Besides winning an Oscar for composing Pixar's "Soul", Batiste is also a seven-time Grammy award winner.
