Denise Richards Aaron Phypers ugly court battle details are here. Actor Denise Richards has filed an emergency court motion accusing her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, of stealing her laptop and sharing her private nude photographs. The case, involving sensitive allegations of abuse, theft, and restraining order violations, has raised questions about digital privacy and legal protections during contentious divorces.

Denise Richards Nude Photos Allegedly Shared with Media

According to emergency court documents filed on July 29, 2025, Denise Richards claims that Aaron Phypers stole her laptop and began sharing nude photos stored on the device. Her lawyer alleges that Phypers has already disseminated private information, including explicit images, to various media outlets.

The filing specifically references July 25, when Phypers is said to have distributed the images. Richards’ team asked the court to order Phypers to return the stolen items and stop further dissemination.

Alleged Violation of Denise Richards Restraining Order

Richards previously secured a temporary restraining order against Phypers on July 17. The order required him to return her laptop and any data taken from her phone. The emergency filing now argues that Phypers has violated this order by retaining and sharing the content.

Her legal team did not notify Phypers about the latest hearing to avoid possible destruction of the laptop or any harm that might occur if he learned about the motion in advance.

Denise Richards Abuse Allegations During Marriage

In earlier court filings, Richards accused Phypers of repeated physical and verbal abuse throughout their seven-year relationship. She claimed he struck her head and face, used degrading language, and caused at least three concussions.

She described incidents of choking, slapping, and threats to her life. One incident in 2022 allegedly involved Phypers using the heel of his palm to strike her eye, resulting in bruising and swelling.

Richards said she often did not report the abuse due to fear that Phypers would harm himself. She claimed he regularly threatened suicide if she contacted the police.

He has since requested spousal support, citing their lifestyle costs of over $105,000 a month. A source close to Richards stated that she was financially supporting him during their marriage and found the request unreasonable.
