Popular YouTuber Markiplier has once again been admitted to the hospital, sparking concern among his millions of fans worldwide. The creator, known for his gaming content, comedy sketches, and charity livestreams, has more than 37 million subscribers on YouTube and 12 million followers on Instagram.

The 36-year-old creator, whose real name is Mark Fischbach, posted a photo from a hospital bed on social media late Sunday(August 24). While he did not disclose the reason for his latest hospital visit, he left a short message for his followers: “Chew your food boys and goils.”

Despite the lack of details, the update quickly set off a wave of speculation and support online. Fans flooded the comments section with a mix of lighthearted jokes and heartfelt well-wishes.

According to the Times Now website, one fan wrote, “I have no doubt there are people collecting pictures of Markiplier in the hospital like infinity stones.”

Another added, “The yearly Markiplier hospital reunion has been completed, same time next year, folks?”

    History of health scares

This is not Markiplier’s first hospitalization. The YouTuber has a documented history of bowel obstructions, a condition often caused by scar tissue from past abdominal surgeries.

His first obstruction occurred before his YouTube career began. Another episode in late 2020 led to an overnight hospital stay, when he described experiencing intense abdominal pain.

At the time, Markiplier reassured fans with an Instagram post: “Hey gang, don’t want to worry you, but had to take a quick trip to the hospital. Some intense abdominal pain but nothing life-threatening. Hopefully will be out of here in no time.”

Days later, he updated followers from his hospital bed, explaining that multiple scans and X-rays showed progress. “It looked like things were moving through okay, which is good,” he said in December 2020.

Markiplier has not provided further details about his condition or how long he expects to remain hospitalized. Fans continue to send messages of encouragement as they wait for updates.
