Nicole Cohen shared thisHappy New Year. Hope that we all enjoyed the holiday season. And while we did... AI didn't sleep in. It didn't travel and/or unwind. It didn't over-debate with family & friends, didn't overeat, and it certainly didn't overthink what the new year would bring. As we have turned the calendar page, finding ourselves in 2026, please take a scroll through this piece on how #agenticAI is (already) redefining #PrivateEquity. Leading PE teams are coupling it with the power of human judgment to harness intelligence, make decisions & take action towards value faster! Nicole Cohen shared thisLooking forward to the year ahead! It is a great privilege to be part of this brilliant and fast-moving, value creating industry with our clients. And it’s exciting to be on this team, with the unstoppable and inspiring, Rachel Barton and the most exceptional colleagues from around the world.Nicole Cohen shared thisI’m delighted to be in New York City, joined by an exceptional group of leaders from Accenture’s Global Private Equity business. This marks my first official day leading our #PrivateEquity group at Accenture and I am immensely privileged to do so. With our newly scaled Transaction Advisory business, generative AI assets in Technology and Operational Diligence, V&A investments through acquisitions of Impendi and Insight Sourcing, an ability to underwrite portfolio company transformation through our technology and managed services business, and strong capabilities in driving growth, we’re well positioned to help support value creation across the deal lifecycle. My leadership team and I are ready for the year ahead as 2025 brings new opportunities and considerations to the private equity sector. Led by exits, ramped deployment of capital and a double-down on the mid-market, Investment Committees are looking for more comprehensive value creation plans to maximize returns. The focus on operational value creation levers through technology and operational diligence, combined with deep sectoral insight looks set to continue as private equity firms are increasingly looking to create long-term value even beyond holding periods. Firms also show a continued, keen interest to apply generative AI both in the end-to-end deal lifecycle and to increase efficiency and speed in their own operations. Talent, as always, remains key. I hope you enjoy exploring these, and many more trends for 2025 in our latest Private Equity State of the Market. With special thanks to the simply brilliant Gary Haywood, Nicole Cohen, Martin T. Nicole Cohen reacted on thisNicole Cohen reacted on thisI’m excited to share that I’ve accepted the role of Chief Financial Officer at Gruntwork. I’m grateful to Josh Padnick Yevgeniy Brikman Zach Goldberg for their confidence in me and delighted to continue working with a team I admire so much. Gruntwork is an unusually thoughtful company: bootstrapped by choice, committed to profitable and sustainable growth, and remarkably transparent about both its opportunities and its challenges. For a finance executive, it is a pretty compelling combination. I’m also excited by what lies ahead. As AI drives companies to build more, and more complex, cloud infrastructure, Gruntwork’s DevOps products help engineering teams do that securely, reliably, and efficiently. The connection between infrastructure, operational discipline, and FinOps is only becoming more important, and Gruntwork is exceptionally well positioned to help companies navigate it. This new chapter is bittersweet because it also means winding down my fractional CFO business. That work has been incredibly rewarding. I’ve had the privilege of learning from talented founders, executives, and finance teams across a wide range of companies, and I’m deeply grateful to every client who trusted me with their business. I’m thrilled to bring everything I’ve learned to the next stage of Gruntwork’s growth. And if your tech team has started talking about multi-cloud infrastructure, or you suspect they are about to, you should probably talk to ours!

For more than two decades, I have worked at the intersection of government and technology, helping public sector organizations modernize operations, better serve constituents, and attract the talent needed to drive transformation. Over the past several years, I have had the privilege of serving as the US Public Service Lead. In that role, I have visited many state capitals across our nation, gaining a deep appreciation for the diversity and complexity of state government. I have also witnessed the incredible talent, innovation, forward-thinking solutions, and AI capabilities that Accenture brings to its clients. While I have truly enjoyed this role, there are times in our careers when we must make bold decisions that align both our professional aspirations and personal responsibilities. I am making such a move now and will be taking on a new role as the Client Account Lead for the State of Texas. My heart has always been in Texas. I love everything about this great state, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work where I live and serve the community where I was born and raised. I am equally thankful to continue contributing to the broader US Public Sector business, which now includes state and local, federal, and aerospace and defense which will fuel new connections and innovation. I believe public service is fundamental to the fabric of our society, and I have built my career around that belief. I look forward to partnering with the Texas team to help our clients deliver effective government services while contributing to the well-being of the communities they serve. I'm excited to start my new job! #newjob #Accenture

As I considered the next phase of my career, Bain stood out for both the work and the culture. Bain tackles some of the world’s toughest strategic challenges while staying grounded in a clear set of principles such as True North (doing the right thing, always) and a passion for results. I’m grateful for the opportunity and excited to learn from an exceptional team, contribute to meaningful work, and begin this next chapter at Bain.

Nicole Cohen reacted on thisNicole Cohen reacted on thisSuper proud to see Accenture recognised as the #1 company on Forbes' World's Best Management Consulting Firms 2026 list. In a time when every organisation is exploring how AI, data and technology can reshape their business, the real challenge isn't just adopting new tools. Lasting value requires more than technology alone. It takes deep industry expertise, innovation, and human ingenuity working together to help clients move faster, grow, and create sustainable outcomes. Helping organisations build a strong digital core, harness the power of data and AI, and reinvent how they operate creates the foundation for continuous reinvention and new sources of value and I'm incredibly proud of the work our teams do every day alongside clients to turn that vision into reality. Thank you to our clients, teams, and partners who make this possible. https://lnkd.in/eQxHNxww

She's spent her career translating between the business side and the tech side, helping some of the biggest telecom companies actually use their data instead of just sitting on it. We're talking AI in telecom, why regulated industries might be more ready for AI than you think, and the question everyone keeps asking: is AI actually coming for your job? Plus the generational divide nobody talks about. Some people follow the prompts. Some of us just yell "agent" until a human picks up. Pleased to welcome Holly Stefl to the MLS Bio (Molecular Life Science Biotech) Board of Directors at a pivotal moment in the company’s growth. Holly’s appointment comes at an important inflection point for MLS Bio as we advance MLS-269, our first-in-class small-molecule program in advanced prostate cancer, toward the clinic and continue to build the broader value of our platform across oncology and infectious diseases. Holly brings a powerful combination of translational science expertise, capital markets insight, and international biotechnology experience across the US and Australian sectors. Having already contributed strongly as Board Observer, Holly has added real value through rigorous investment targeting, strategic clarity and a strong understanding of how complex scientific companies at our stage must align development milestones, positioning, and capital strategy. At MLS Bio (Molecular Life Science Biotech), we are building with discipline around differentiated science, granted intellectual property, and a clear focus on delivering meaningful outcomes in areas of major unmet need. Holly’s appointment further strengthens our Board as we position the company for clinical advancement, strategic partnerships, and institutional capital engagement. Congratulations Holly — we are very pleased to welcome you formally to the Board. 👏 👏 👏 #Biotech #LifeSciences #Oncology #DrugDevelopment #BoardLeadership #CapitalMarkets #HealthcareInnovation #Investment #ProstateCancer Albert Frauman AusBiotech Jenny Petering James LaFlamme RPH MS FACHE Adrian Hondros Russell Katz Grant Dooley

Biotech capital is loosening, but it’s not broad‑based. Investors are concentrating their bets on companies that demonstrate both differentiated science and leadership teams capable of stewarding scarce capital with discipline. Evan Markou captures this shift well: governance, operating rigor, and leadership credibility are now being evaluated as early as the science itself. For emerging biotechs, that means building investor‑grade leadership long before it feels “necessary.” It’s a sharp, timely read for anyone shaping strategy in this market. https://lnkd.in/gFNVDsps #ImpactfulLeadership #BiotechLeaders

Let's hear it for strong strategic partnerships! 🤝 Enable Injections is redefining large-volume, on-body drug delivery with their enFuse system. And they're doing it from Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to accelerating their manufacturing build out (90,000+ sq. ft.), they're working with a number of pharmaceutical partners to conduct clinical trials and plan for joint commercial launch of their therapies in combination with the enFuse system. It's only January 6th, but 2026 is already looking to be a BIG year 👀

Interesting perspective from Michael Rachlin in BioSpace on why the biotech IPO market is becoming more selective, and what that means for drug developers thinking about capital, timing and exit options in 2026. A must-read for anyone navigating today’s markets.
