United Arab Emirates will take on Pakistan in the fifth match of the UAE T20I Tri-nation series with all the matches being played at the Sharjah stadium. The tournament is being held from 29 August to 7 September 2025 with matches being played inTwenty20 International (T20I) format. The West Asian nation will also host the 17th edition of Men's Asia cup 2025.

The series has three teams participating in it UAE (host), Pakistan and Afghanistan. The hosts haven’t won a single game in the series while the other two teams are tied with four points each. Both Pakistan and Afghanistan have played three matches each while UAE has played only two. Pakistan is ahead of Afghanistan on Net Run Rate basis; both countries have lost one match each against each other.

If Pakistan wins their match against UAE then it would confirm their place in finals while UAE needs to win both the matches with substantial margin to stay afloat in this tournament.
