Deputy Editor in Chief I

Adi Prinantyo, born on November 6th, 1971, in Semarang, Central Java, boasts a rich career in journalism spanning over twenty years. He pursued his education in Social and Political Sciences, specializing in Communication Science, at Diponegoro University, Semarang.

Adi's commitment to excellence in journalism is underscored by his notable achievements, such as winning multiple Anti-Drugs Writing Competitions and the prestigious Adiwarta Sampoerna Award for Sports Feature Writing in 2006. His extensive coverage of significant events, including the Australia Embassy bombing in Jakarta and the catastrophic Tsunami in Nangroe Aceh Darussalam in 2004, highlights his versatility and unwavering dedication to the field.

Adi embarked on his journalistic journey in 2000 at KOMPAS Daily in Jakarta, where he has since been a steadfast contributor. Over the years, he has held diverse editorial roles, including Vice Editor of the Sport Desk and later Politics, Law, and Human Rights Desk. His dedication and proficiency led him to ascend to the position of Managing Editor until February 2024, when he transitioned to Deputy Editor in Chief.
