
Johnsons is a technology professional with over two decades of experience in digital product development, software engineering, and organizational leadership. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from BINUS University and completed an executive education program on Strategy in the Age of Digital Disruption at INSEAD.
His journey with KG Media began in 2017 through a product leadership role, where he contributed to strengthening the company’s digital foundation. He supported deeper collaboration between product, technology, and editorial teams, focusing on building integrated and user-centered solutions aligned with the organization's evolving needs.
In July 2023, he took on the responsibility of leading the Technology Directorate at KG Media, overseeing five core functions: product, design, data, engineering, and infrastructure. In this capacity, he continues to help shape digital development in ways that support both operational goals and the company’s broader journalistic mission.
He has been actively involved in strategic initiatives such as the adoption of AI and automation technologies across editorial and commercial functions since 2022. These efforts have improved the effectiveness of content production and opened new pathways for sustainability-driven projects, including those aligned with the SDGs. In 2023, he contributed to a structural reorganization of the technology and product teams to foster more agile, cross-functional collaboration.
