Wisnu Nugroho, born in Jakarta on May 6, 1976, is a prominent figure in the field of digital media and journalism, known for his dedication and extensive experience. Wisnu's academic journey includes a Master's degree in Social and Political Sciences from Universitas Indonesia in Jakarta and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from STF Driyarkara in Jakarta.

His illustrious career within KG Media is closely associated with Kompas, where he has made significant contributions over the year. Wisnu's journey with Kompas began on July 16, 2001, when he joined as a journalist. His dedication, commitment, and journalistic excellence led to successive promotions within the organization.

From May 1, 2008, he served as a Wartawan Madya (Senior Journalist), further honing his reporting skills and knowledge. His journey continued with Kompas, and he took on roles such as Assistant Bureau Editor for Yogyakarta, Assistant Desk Editor, and Desk Editor.

On January 15, 2016, Wisnu Nugroho assumed the role of Reporting Editor in Chief for the Group of Digital, reflecting his commitment to digital journalism. On August 1, 2018, he held the esteemed position of General Manager of Kompas.com News and serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Kompas.com, one of Indonesia's leading digital news platforms.
