The Bihar government has launched a special campaign, Rajaswa Maha Abhiyan, aimed at helping citizens rectify inaccuracies and update their land records (Jamabandi). The state’s Department of Revenue and Land Reforms says that it will conduct a drive from August 16, 2025, to September 20, 2025, where its representatives will go door to door to help citizens make corrections in their land records.
The revenue and land reforms department said that if there are any inaccuracies in an individual’s land records, such as mistakes in their name, their father’s name, khata-khasra, area, or rent; or, if their Jamabandi is in a joint name or in an ancestor’s name, they can rectify them during the special campaign.
Here are the four main objectives the revenue department has mentioned in the pamphlet uploaded on the Bihar Bhumi portal- https://biharbhumi.bihar.gov.in/Biharbhumi/.
