The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) is set to conduct the SLST examination on September 7 and 14 for filling 35,726 teaching posts. To prevent malpractices, unique security features have been added to the question papers, enabling immediate detection and candidate identification.
The Madhya Pradesh government will recruit 22,500 police personnel in the next three years. This recruitment aims to improve law and order. The recruitment drive is also in preparation for the Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2028. The Madhya Pradesh Police Recruitment Board will handle the hiring process from 2026.

The JKSSB JE exam has been postponed due to bad weather conditions, the examination body said. The exam was scheduled for September 7, but will now be held on another date. It was earlier rescheduled from August 31. The new exam date will be announced later on the official website. This recruitment aims to fill 508 Junior Engineer positions.
